Super-Dry Systems D Series Compressed Air Dryers are single tower desiccant compressed air dryers for point-of-use applications.  D Series Dryers remove water and humidity from compressed air lines.  Pre-cooled compressed air flows upward through a filtration bag filled with activated alumina (desiccant) which adsorbs moisture. The units contain a built-in pre and after coalescer filter. Dry compressed air is then delivered at the application. Advantages of Single Tower Desiccant Type Dryers include: low initial capital and installation cost, simple maintenance, low pressure drop, no moving parts, requires no electrical power, can be installed outdoors, can be used in hazardous, dirty or corrosive environments, zero air loss. Ideal for a wide range of applications, these compressed air dryers protect against freeze-ups in the winter and liquid in the summer.  They are also the ideal supplement to a refrigerated air dryer.
